BACKGROUND

MAJOR PRODUCTION COMPANY TO FILM LOCAL TENT REVIVAL FOR HISTORICAL DOCUMENTARY

Opening Night— Arkansans Offer National Memorial Tribute to the South Carolina Nine
Thursday, June 25, 2015 Pearcy, Arkansas— A major television production company from New York City visited Arkansas with a five-camera crew on June 26, 27, and 28 to film a documentary featuring local minister Harvey Perdue putting on an old-fashioned Holy Ghost tent revival.  Due to a recent happening in the nation, God has magnified the call for revival in America and many are joining this movement.  On June 17, 2015, Reverend-Senator, Pastor Clementa Pinckney and eight others were killed (sacrificed) by a gunman proclaiming hate for African-Americans inside the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. On Friday night, the service opened with a Memorial Tribute to the Carolina Nine.  The call for Arkansans to gather at the tent at 7:30pm to pray and engage in a special 30-minute memorial tribute segment was  presented by organizers who include the National Day of Prayer, Supreme Day of Prayer and others who joined the nation in seeing the role of the church and its leaders uniting for a realignment with God.  The number nine signifies the number of months it takes for human life to enter the world from the womb.  It’s time for the Church to have a re-entry moment.

While we are not at liberty to mention the name of the production company at this time (due to contract confidentiality), the documentary will air to over 32 countries, reaching millions of people early this fall. While the tent will go in the air on June 24, while the actual tent revival will be June 26, 27, and 28. All are invited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event. The event is historical for both Hot Springs and its suburban area of Pearcy.  “This will be a testament to the Pentecostal movement of Hot Springs,” Perdue comments. “This is not a Harvey Perdue show, this is not Cowboy Church, this is for Jesus. Come and let’s lift up the Lord. Let’s show the world that Hot Springs loves Jesus and wants to lift up his name.” All churches, regardless of denomination are invited. The tent will set on Perdue’s field property at 3854 Airport Road, next door to his home located at 3842 Airport Road in Pearcy. Perdue has had experience with tent ministries throughout his life as a traveling tent evangelist, and was recommended to be in the documentary by Paul Asa Allen, son of one of the most famous tent evangelists of all time, A.A. Allen.

Perdue set the tent in Malvern for the first time in May of last year, holding a two-week spirit-filled extravaganza with miracles of healing and deliverance. After the Malvern meeting, Perdue set the tent at the Hot Springs Airport for 21 days, seeing deliverance, salvation, and healing. “I’ve always had a deliverance ministry,” Perdue stated. “When I got the call from New York, they stated they didn’t want any actors. I told them there would be ‘One’ acting and they can’t stop him, and that’s the Holy Ghost.” The documentary will air on twelve different channels nationwide and is being produced by the same company who produces atheist commentator, Bill Maher. Perdue states, “Jesus loves Bill Maher too.”

Perdue and his band will provide the music, but there will be guest singers as well. “All churches who participate will have their name in the end credits, so come for your chance to be on camera,” Perdue states.   Perdue, a Nashville Recording Artist and Country Gospel Music Hall of Famer, has been the pastor of Cowboy Church of Hot Springs for 13 years, however, this is not a Cowboy Church event, it is hosted by Harvey Perdue Ministries.
